I'm wondering if anyone else has had this ? Even though I haven't been able to do much walking lately. When I do get on my feet for any length of time my left foot goes numb after I've had my shoe on for more than 10 minutes. Then the bottom feels like I'm standing on hot cement. If I walk around the house barefoot in a short time the heel feels like I'm walking on a bunch of sharp rocks. are these common symptoms of gout? One docter said it could be an incased nerve. What ever that is. I'm hoping that after I'm on the ALLOPURALL 200MG a day long enough this will clear up. Thoughts ANYONE? LIMPY

Not sure as it does not resemble my Gout.  In fact I was going to start a thread about cold feet. My feet stay cold even when I wear woollen socks!

I used to get cold feet when I started Allop treatment but after few weeks, the cold feet sensations went away.
I never felt hot feet within 10 minutes of wearing the shoes though I do get the hot sensations in the heels when I wear the shoes for long time, and I mean 10 hrs plus by long time.
I generally wear shoes around 9 am and keep them on till 9 pm or so.

Sorry mate I should have been clearer. My feet have always been cold as far back as I can remember. So in my case AlloP has nothing to do with it. I just meant that cold feet increase the chance of crystals formation even when the SUA is in the under 6….6.8mg/dl level ie. safe level. So imagine if normally crystal formed at say exactly 6.8mg/dl level for me then because of cold feet it could form at  5.5 mg/dl level. That was just an illustrative example as I don't know how much imapct it must be having on crystal soluability or formation.
